First wave of bracket models available

Five models are now posted for Insiders under the TIPS+ section. Look for the “2014 Models (Wave 1)” link. This set includes:

A – From the Gut
1 – KenPom
2 – Final Four/Champ
7 – Baseline

By Monday night, I hope to include at least six more…maybe nine.

Sorry I didn’t include the disqualifying factors because that would have been very lengthy but those are the schools.

  2. Kyle says:

Looks like missing the 7 Baseline bracket. It shows as F4/Champ and looks same as bracket #2 F4/Champ.

  3. Travis says:

    Regarding the Final Four/Champ bracket…

Doesn’t the following rule exclude Dayton from winning?

“Don’t pick any 11-13 seed Cinderellas in round one that didn’t go to the previous dance and have a rookie tourney coach”

They are an #11 seed, did not go to last year’s dance, and Archie Miller is coaching his first tournament game this year.

  4. Pete says:

How would I figure out scoring margin percentage or where to find it?

  5. Mark S says:

No confidence in ESPN’s BPI model, despite it making an impressive 94th percentile debut last year? Was there something in last year’s field that helped it, that you think might not work this year?
